The overall curriculum aim of the Visual Arts Education Key Learning Area is to:

 

  • Inspire and guide students to explore new art forms with different materials, techniques, and media, and to master basic production skills.
  • Encourage students to explore different art forms in a variety of ways and to develop problem-solving skills and attitudes.

 

Programme Objectives:

 

  • To express personal thoughts and feelings through visual art creation, enhance students' self-confidence and positive learning attitude, and promote their sense of belonging to our school.
  • To emphasise teaching students the knowledge of visual art, visual art appreciation, and visual art creation to further enhance students' language ability and learning level. The objective is to develop students' generic skills, especially their ability to use mathematics to solve problems, reason, and communicate.
